Elves Guastatori
Beowulf's Children is an annual anthology of fantasy fiction and nonfiction by Alberto Henriet (
Diesel mean anything?) And published by Editions
Midgard, with the sponsorship of the Culture of Perugia. In the edition of 2010
we find the short novel by Tullio Bologna (
banner in the shadow of death), the essay by Giuseppe Panella (
Devices fantastic. The horror, fantasy, the sword and sorcery ) Valentino Sergi's stories (The
corviera ) Dalmazio Frau (The Wanderer
autumn), Francesco Brandoli (
Hadding and draugr ), Alberto Henriet (
Jonathon Dark ) and myself.
My story
Guastatori Elves was inspired by the book Ishmael Beah
Memoirs of a child soldier, on the tragedy of war in Sierra Leone experienced firsthand by the author. The dramatic events of
Elves have fantasy setting instead , contaminated by war machines and steam spells inspired by hackers.
Beyond the setting, remains intent on my part-common in all my stories, to counter any attempt to make the fascinating war.
